NOTICE OF INTENT TO CIRCULATE PETITION
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to Government Code Section 56700.4 of the intention to circulate a petition proposing to incorporate the community of Wildomar as a city and make related special district boundary changes.
Boundaries of the proposed City of Wildomar generally conform to the Unincorporated Community boundaries as accepted by LAFCO on May 22, 1997.
Reasons for the proposal are to:
Ø Provide Wildomar residents local control over planning, services and infrastructure
Ø Provide the local community a greater voice in regional issues
Ø Create an efficient and politically accountable local government for our community
Ø Retain local tax revenues for use in and to benefit the community
Ø Enhance the quality of life and maintain our community’s unique environment
Ø Preserve Wildomar’s historical and cultural heritage
